Is teleportation possible, as in Star Trek?

In a sense, yes, but the terminology is wrong. Whatever the title, it is not of this world… or is it? In real life, the particles we are speaking of do not move, travel, or beam from point A to point B. Instead, they disappear at one particular point and then reappear at another. “Teleportation” would take up way too much memory for fruition.
